Thank you for your letter of 30 December 1992 covering the second annual report under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
I was pleased to see that good progress is being made and that we are on target to complete the first tranche registrations by the end of this year. I also noted that the age distribution and qualifications of those who have been successful

similar to those of principal emigrants : it is reassuring to know that the Scheme is hitting the right sections of
