Passports

We have been informed that in both London, Ottawa and Toronto, applicants for BN (0) passport had been told that they would not be able to retain their BDTC passports. I attach herewith a fax message from our Economic and Trade Office in Toronto for your reference. Regarding the problem in London, we gather that our London office had already written to the UK Passport Agency. We would, nevertheless, be grateful if you would remind the UK Passport Agency as well as the posts in Canada of the exceptional arrangements for HKBDTČs.
