VISIT OF CZECH FOREIGN MINISTER
Anne Shepherd suggested that I should deal with you direct on this one.

I would be grateful if you could fax any further clarification on this visit issuing during your Saturday morning direct to the Czech Embassy they will be checking their fax machine up until 1200 local time on 19 June and will pass on any information/questions to Prague. You should address your fax to Mr Vymetal, fax number 071 727 9654. You may also wish to fax to me, so that I can follow up on Monday.
3. Mr Vymetal has asked me to let you know that Mr Mrklovsky, the head of the Trade and Commercial section at the Czech Embassy in Peking, will arrive in Hong Kong a couple of days before the visit and will get in touch with you to act as liaison with the party. He will want to talk to someone about the Press Conference which they want to hold at the end of the trip at the airport.

With apologies for all the chopping and changing Vymetal requests that all the delegation (ie, official delegation, Minister's party, business delegatin and journalists) be housed in the same Hotel - the one suggested by HKG for the Minister and party. I said that I would pass this on, but that I could not be sure that this would be possible.
5. The air crew can go wherever you advise no need to be with the rest of the party.
6. Mr Vymetal believes that the official delegation will wish to retain their rooms until 1700, but could not tell me
