I am faxing to you a request from the Tongan High Commission for VIP courtesies on the arrival in and departure from Hong Kong) They have also requested access to the VIP lounge for the Hong Kong hosts of the King and Queen and for a contact point within the Hong Kong protocol Department. The quality of the fax we received is poor and you may want to ask one of your staff to telephone me to go over the details.

Grateful if you could confirm arrangements so that I can get back to the Tongan High Commission on 24 September or earlier. Apologies for the lack of notice - I understand that this is a feature of such visits! Do I need to spell out what facilities are on offer? Or are they frequent visitors familiar with how things are done?
