We have heard that the judge has made a decision to turn down the review and maintain her original verdict. The travel industry in Hong Kong is considering to appeal to the Supreme Court and the original lawyer Santos has filed already.
However, when we suggested that our Hong Kong lawyer fly down immediately to meet with him to discuss the next step, he replied that Christmas is near and suggested we wait until after year end. From our point of view we are naturally very annoyed, and as you
you know throughout the whole review process, we have not really been satisfied with Mr. Santos who never seems to be available when we need him. Believe you had the same impression.
Not knowing much about Philippines law, do you see any implications of not using him for the appeal, and do you know any lawyer you think worth
worth our contacting to take over the case and who also has good connection with Government, in case we need to pursue the route of pardon Ingléäd?.
