I enclose a minute from Greg Dorey underlining Mr Goodlad's interest in including Hong Kong businessman Mok Ying Kie in any entertainment planned for the Minister's next visit to Hong Kong. Greg was not able to give me any further background on this contact of the Minister's. We agreed that if Mr Kie is to be put forward as a lunch/reception guest it would be helpful for officials at both ends to be able to put him into context. Grateful therefore to know and there is no hurry

whether BTC have come across him.
