Thank you for the revised programme which fits the bill admirably.

We do have one revision. Please would you omit the slot on 31 May at 10.30 (briefing plus ground breaking ceremony at future British Consulate General building site).

When Mr Goodlad and the Governor spoke about this during the Governor's visit to the UK in April, they agreed in principle that Mr Goodlad's visit would provide the right opportunity for a briefing on the planned Consulate General building and some publicity. But we do not wish to go ahead with what will be a high profile occasion until we have secured formal Treasury agreement to the commitment of PES funds for this project.

We cannot guarantee that this will be received in good enough time for you and BTC to make the necessary arrangements for press coverage of the event.

Grateful in due course for your advice on what might best be slotted into the extra time which will now be available.
