Mr Goodlad will visit New York, Washington, Seattle and Los Angeles from 19-27 September.

The main purpose of Mr Goodlad's visit is to promote inward investment and British commercial activity in the United States, including the "North America Now" campaign. In Washington, Mr Goodlad's programme includes meetings at State Department, and NSC. He will also attend the Ambassador's dinner for the Secretary of State to which members of Congress have been invited.
