UK-JAPAN 2000 GROUP:

MEETING WITH THE PRIME MINISTER

1. The British members of the UK-Japan 2000 Group will be meeting the Prime Minister on 22 February prior to their annual conference, which is to be held in Japan from 5-8 March. An agenda for the meeting is attached. We have been asked to provide a brief for the Prime Minister.

2. I should be grateful for contributions to a Private Secretary letter as follows:
