Governor

Following the Queen's offer to pay tax on her

personal income, there have been suggestions that the should pay salaries tax. On 21 May 1993, the Chief Secretary appointed three-member panel to review the Governor's tax position. The panel has recommended that there be no change in the Governor's tax position. EXCO considered the panel's recommendation on 20 July and advised that it be accepted.
