Clause 76 of Part XII of the proposed Patents Bill will apply to petty patent applications so that no amendment will be valid which results in the extension of the subject matter contained in the application as filed.
The Registrar shall accept such amendment as filed and on grant both the specification as filed and any amendments will be published.
102.
Onus of proof
This clause will contain provisions that the proprietor of a petty patent granted under this Part shall in any proceedings under the proposed Patents Bill be required to establish to the satisfaction of the court the validity of the patent.
103. Application of other Parts

The following Clauses of the proposed Patents Bill will apply to petty patent applications made and petty patents granted under this Part subject as amended or modified where appropriate in this Part.
