a translation into the English language of any part of the EPA or accompanying documents that is not in English or that does not appear in translation into English in the certified copy of the EPA;

(e)

the prescribed filing fee; and

(f)

the prescribed advertising fee.

Minimum requirements to obtain a date of request

(1)

To obtain a date of request, being the date on which the applicant lodges a request to record an EPA and thereby obtains his priority in Hong Kong provided that he subsequently completes his application, the documents lodged must contain :

an indication that a request to record an EPA is sought;

information identifying the applicant;

(c)

an indication of a date of publication of the EPA;

(d)

what appears to be a copy of the EPA which contains the information contained in Clause 4(2)(a) above; and

(e)

the filing fee.

If no fee is paid the application is rejected.

6.

Issue of receipt by Registrar

On first receipt of the documents and on payment of the filing fee the Registrar shall mark the documents with the date of their receipt by the Registrar and immediately issue to the applicant a receipt which shows a number, the nature and number of the documents received and the date of receipt.
