UK/HKSAR MUTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE

1. I have looked lat the Article you gave me and must say I am a little confused; what has it been taken from and what is it intended to mean? What do they mean by

certification/authentication? As this is a Government to Government Agreement this should not be necessary.

2.

The legalisation of documents originating overseas is not required for them to be accepted in the UK although, in certain cases, UK courts may require that signatures on documents presented to them have been properly authenticated. This is in civil matters.

3. I am returning herewith your copy of the Agreement.
