Agrement. 164/6
8 June 1993
Dear Mr Bunter
UK SARG AIR SERVICE AGREEMENT
Thank you for your letter of 4 June to Michael Fielder.
In general, we are content for the negotiations to be held as described in paragraphs 1 and 2 of your letter. We agree with Hong Kong that 2 days is a closer estimate of the time likely to be required for discussion of the air service arrangements and
confirm that we would wish to lead these discussions for the UK
(I will take the lead for the Department).
In the meantime we will start comparing the UK and Hong Kong
model Air Service Agreement texts. I think we have all the papers we need but, if not, we will ask our usual contacts in
the Economic Services Branch in Hong Kong to supply them. We can then identify the issues
issues that need to be resolved in the
discussions later this year.
