Education Scholarships Fund ordinance (Cap. 1085).
Ordinance provides for the establishment and management of a
fund for the purpose of awarding scholarships to students. The British side proposes to adapt it as follows
This
trust
(a) delete section 10 (4) which refers to the Crown Agents;
(b)
replace 'Her Majesty
'Her Majesty the Queen,
the Queen, Her Heirs or Successors'
by the Government' in section 22;
(c)
replace 'Governor' by 'Chief Executive' in sections 5,
7(1) and 9;
(a) replace 'Chief Secretary' by 'Administrative Secretary' in
section 6 (2);
(e)
in the
[Note : The reference to the Colonial Secretary in
text of the Ordinance is an error, as the Colonial
Secretary, was re-named Chief Secretary in 1976.]
replace 'Colony' by 'Hong Kong' in sections 4(2), 18 and
