This deals with
bills
or exchange, cheques and promissory notes.
The Brizish side
proposes to adapt it as follows
(a) replace 'foreign country' by 'place outside Hong Kong' in
section 72 (b);
(b)
replace country' by jurisdiction' in sections 72(e)
32(a);
and
(c)
replace the Colony' by 'Hong Kong' in sections 4,
89(4).

Bills of Sale Ordinance (Cap. 20). This makes provision
for the prevention of frauds upon creditors by secret bills of sale
of personal chattels.
The British side
proposes
to
adapt
as
follows
