The reference to "Crown Agents" in Cap. 94 should be
deleted and no substitute is required (see para.7(g)
above).
(f)
In relation to the Regulations and Rules governing
the operation of the welfare funds of the Discipline
Services mentioned in para.7 (h) above, the Secretary
for Security, after consultation with all these
Services, proposes
proposes to delete the provisions relating
to "Crown Agents" from the legislation without
requiring any substitute.
(g)
Among the various Ordinances mentioned in para.7(i)
above, the Secretary for Security proposes to amend
the Police Children's Education Trust Ordinance and
the Police Education and Welfare Trust Ordinance by
repealing all the references to Crown Agents
therein. Subject to any views from other Policy
Secretaries concerning the funds managed under Caps.
1085, 1100, 1103 and 1128, the same adaptation would
be recommended for those ordinances.
(h). It is recommended that the provisions relating to the
Scheduled Government in the pensions legislation
should be deleted when it comes up for amendment in
the near future.
