Visitors to Malaysia may bring in free of duty the following goods if they satisfy certain
Wine, spirit or malt liquor not exceeding 1 liter
Tobacco not exceeding 225 grams (equivalent to 200 cigarettes)
Matches not exceeding 100
Cosmetics, perfume, soaps and tooth paste, in open containers, to a total value not exceeding $ 200 (US $ 75)
New clothes not exceeding 3 items
New footwear not exceeding one pair
Portable electric and battery-operated appliances for personal care and hygiene not exceeding 1 unit each
Food subject to duty not exceeding $ 75 (US $ 30) in value
The goods above can only be imported duty free if they meet the following conditions:
The articles must be imported by the visitor on his or her person or in his or her baggage.
The visitor must satisfy the Customs Officer that he or she is not normally resident in Malaysia and intends to visit Malaysia for a period of not less than 72 hours.
Articles for personal use or consumption by travellers are considered non-commercial and are exempted from customs duty unless their nature or quantity suggests otherwise.

Official airline
26.
Malaysia Airlines has been appointed the official airline of the Conference. They will provide the best available ticket prices to delegates of the Conference. Early reservation is essential to take advantage of this offer. All participants will have to present to Malaysia Airlines an official letter from the competent authorities in their country confirming that they have been nominated to attend ADCOM VII and/or MINEDAP VI.

Accommodation
Hotel reservations have been made tentatively by the Government of Malaysia at special discounted rates. However, participants are requested to note carefully the provision of paragraph 29 regarding the reservation of rooms. All delegates and observers wishing to have hotel rooms reserved for them should indicate their requirements on the attached form, which should be signed and returned so as to arrive in Kuala Lumpur not later than 15 March 1993 at the following address:
