Summary Offences

Nuisances committed in public places, etc.

Any person who without lawful authority or excuse-

(29) uses or introduces in or into any public place any loud speaker, megaphone or other device or instrument for magnifying sound save under and in accordance with the conditions of any such general or special permit as the Commissioner of Police in his absolute discretion may issue; (Added 26 of 1933 s. 2. Replaced 11 of 1949 s. 3)

shall be liable to a fine of $500 or to imprisonment for 3 months.
