(2) Notice of a prohibition under subsection (1) shall be
in writing and shall be given
(a)
(b)
to the person or to one of the persons (if more
than one) promoting, directing, organizing or
managing the public meeting; or
by publication in such manner, or by posting a
notice of the prohibition in such place, as the
Commissioner of Police may think fit.
(3) The power conferred by subsection (1) shall not be
exercised in respect of any public meeting notified under
section 8
(a)
subject to paragraph (b), at any time later than
48 hours prior to the time of commencement of
the meeting as so notified; or
(b) where the Commissioner of Police has accepted
notice under section 8(2), at any time later
than 24 hours prior to the time of commencement
of the meeting as so notified.
10.
Designated public areas
The Governor may by order designate any area as a
designated public area for the purposes of this Part.
