C. Others:

1. For

customary holidays of racial minorities, the local people's government of the place where they live shall have the discretion to decide on the designation of holidays after considering the customary practices of such racial minorities.

2. Holidays are not necessary for such commemorative events as February 7th (the Great Strike of 1923), the May 30th Movement (1925), the July 7th Incident Co wage war of resistance against Japanese aggression

(1937), the August 15th Commemoration of victory, the September 18th Incident, Nurses' Day, Teachers' Day, Journalists' Day etc.

3. In the event that general holidays fall on a Sunday, the following day should be made a compensatory holiday. For holidays applicable to only Some nationals, no compensatory holiday shall be granted should it happen to fall on a Sunday.
