In the case of AsiaSat, (see Appendix 2) where the frequency bands may intersect with APSC, UK has registered thirteen entries. However, the nearest is 9.5° from an APSC planned location, and 3° is normally more than adequate to ensure there is no interference potential under any circumstances at the frequencies considered.
APSC do not envisage any submission to DTI or any other part of HMG for financial support for this project. All that is required is an affirmative response to being associated with a filing to the IFRB for Advanced Publication and a general commitment to support, alongside other countries associated with the submission, the aims and objectives of APSC.
