UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON REGISTRATION OF OBJECTS LAUNCHED INTO OUTER SPACE, 14 JANUARY 1975

I understand that the United Nations holds the Register of objects launched into outer space (Article III of above Convention). I would be grateful if you could advise me who I should approach to check entries on the Register

(unfortunately our own records do not contain the appropriate contact name).

My particular query relates to the satellite Asiasat-1 which was launched in China on 7 April 1990 (full details attached). Unfortunately, our records do not make clear whether the launch was notified to the UN by the UK or by Hong Kong.
