Further to our letter of are now able to contact the next-of-kins of three more victims after another extensive search of Our departmental records. There remains only one family whom we are unable to locate and they are the next-of-kins of the victim, Mr Sangi LIM. According to our movement records, LIM's next-of-kins seemed to have emigrated abroad in 1985 without leaving behind ally forwarding address. The list of the 'next-of-kins of the victims is updated at Annex for reference.

A meeting was also arranged with the second group of next-of-kins on 24 February. A copy of the Chinese translation of the American papers was given to each of them. With regard to the question of compensation, their concern is similar to that of the other families but in addition to

this, they would

like to raise two more points as follows :

(a) the next-of-kins should be given the contact address and telephone number of the American Families Assuciation in case some of them might wish to contact them direct;
