4. Highsonic is not a company known to us. We believe it has recently been established and is a partnership between Mr Oei Hong Leong, the owner or major shareholder in the Bank International Indonesia, who reputedly has close commercial links with China, and a Singaporean listed company called QAF, who are believed to have direct links with the Brunei royal family. We would be grateful for any information Singapore can pick up both on Highsonic and the Joint Venture.
