Our Telno 757: Negotiations of New ASAS
1.
Second Round of ASA Negotiations with the Sultanate of Oman
ASA held in Hong Kong from 20 to 21 October 1993 as scheduled. text agreed and initialled. An accompanying CMU covering exchange of traffic rights was also signed. This does not contain any rights to Taiwan. The CMU will be applied provisionally pending formal signature of the Agreement.
2.
As agreed earlier with UKREP JLG, we would postpone handing over of the initialled text to the Chinese. The Oman side had been clearly informed of the position as regards the PRC.
