UK/HKSAR Air Services Agreement

When we met in Hong Kong in June we briefly mentioned the possibility of talks at a later date in the year to start discussing the text of a future UK/HKSAR ASA. As you are probably aware, our International Law Division are currently corresponding with FCO to set up talks in London to discuss a range of future agreements between the UK and the HKSAR after JLG XXVIII.

These are likely to take place from 10 to 20 December 93.

I understand from FCO that you would like to arrange with us directly dates for talks on the UK/HKSAR ASA. As I shall be leading the Hong Kong delegation on the talks, I am writing to you to propose that we meet on 14 to 15 December 93 in London.
