2. TERMS OF REFERENCE

This assignment had the objective of developing a survey plan for radon in the Hong Kong area, suitable for the IAEA-counterpart, the Hong Kong Polytechnic, Dept. of Applied Physics. In order to fulfill this objective the duties performed as related to the objective were as follows:

a) review of all presently available data as collected by the IAEA- counterpart within this project;

b) review of data obtained by other researches in the Hong Kong area in the field of environmental radioactivity;

c) identifying specific topics that require future research;

d) design of a survey plan for radon in Hong Kong;
