Referring to your letter of 29 April I'm glad to inform you, that the German language text is ready and the last revision by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be completed these days. The revision of the Chinese text will also be finished soon.

We seem to be well under way to get everything ready for signa- ture. I hope I will be able to send you the results of the revi- sions within the coming weeks.

While translating the initialed English text two problems appea-

red:

- In Article 1 (4) we would like to change the definition of

German investors. The wording we suggest now is the usual wor-

ding in our IPPA's;

the wording of Article 7 (1) is difficult to translate into German. We would like to change a few words in order to get an

understandable German text.

Both proposals are marked in the enclosed copies of the initialed

text.
