Boundaries

I proposed a further round of boundary talks in early

March. They asked us to confirm in writing that it would be on

the basis of the previous round, ie. on the basis of the

conditional agreement reached then on the bay and sea

boundaries. Outside the meeting they told me that the

Guangdong Government was content with this agreement.

Guangdong said that they had seized many more weapons than we had last year. They said they wanted further to strengthen cooperation between, against cross-border crime. They did not press us to return criminals we catch who are wanted in Guangdong.
