While we see no problem with increasing Hong Kong's participation in WIPO, we understand that the whole question of Hong kong's relationship with WIPO after 1997 has yet to be discussed with the Chinese. I am therefore copying Mr Leung's letter and this letter to the British Joint Liaison Group Office in Hong Kong, who will wish to be kept informed.
