We would much appreciate your advice as latest position of the issue and the time frame for extending the Cable and Broadcasting Act 1984 to Hong Kong through an order in Council.

We understand that this is not a simple exercise but would be most grateful for your early action with a view to offering copyright protection for the subscription television programmes to be broadcast in October this year, if this is possible.
