on the application in Hong Kong of the

MINIMUM AGE (INDUSTRY) CONVENTION (REVISED), 1937 (No. 59) under the Labour Standards (Non-Metropolitan Territories)

Convention, 1947 (No. 33)

This convention has been applied with modification to Hong Kong since 27 March 1950 by a declaration registered by the International Labour Crganisation (ILC) and the modification was improved by a further declaration registered by the ILO on 23 December 1980. The declarations were communicated to the ILO by the United Kingdom Government in connection with the ratification of the Labour Standards (Non- Metropolitan Territories) Convention, 1947 (No. 83).

A full report was submitted by the Government of Hong Kong in 1983. For the period under review, the position has remained unchanged except as follows :
