This convention has been applied to Hong Kong with moification in respect of Articles 2 an.. 5. An improved declaration was registered by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) cn 27 February 19.5.

This convention has not been ratified by the United Kingdom. The declaration

in respect of Hong Kong was communicated to the ILO by the United Kingdom Government in connection with the ratification of the Labour Standards

(Non-Metropolitan Territories) Convention, 1947 (No.83)..
