(iv) Easy and Secure Access

Easy and safe access must be secured between the HKCEC and the New World Harbour View Hotel. To the extent dat vier options for office space would be agreed between the HKMA and the Organizations, similar arrangements for easy and secure access will be provided. There will be no public access to the HKCEC and Annual Meetings office areas in other buildings from September 15-27.

Sleeping Accommodation

The HKMA shall arrange with various hotels, as specified by the Secretaries of the Organizations or their designees, in close consultation with the HKMA or its designees, a total of 3,800 units, for sleeping accommodation to be made available for official participants in the Meetings at the participants' expense. Assignment of sleeping accommodation to individuals shall be made by the Organizations no later than Monday September 8, 1997 and any sleeping accommodation unassigned at that date shall be released as determined by the Organizations. In addition, the HKMA will make arrangements for accommodation for

Visitors.

Temporary Employees

The HKMA shall assist the Organizations in recruiting, in accordance with local laws and other requirements, such temporary employees of the Organizations as may be required for the conduct of the Meetings in accordance with specifications to be furnished sufficiently in advance to the Government by the Organizations. The HKMA shall bear the administrative cost of this assistance and shall meet the payroll expenses for such temporary employees on behalf of the Organizations, subject to reimbursement, as set out in paragraph C.a. below.

Local Transportation Services

(a)

The HKMA shall provide, at its expense, local transportation services for the delegations, including 250 cars with drivers and about 1000 parking spaces for cars and additional parking for buses at the HKCEC, neighboring government office buildings, and the harbor promenade.
