1. We have noted from your letter of 1 July to Mrs Hogwood and from the ExCo Information Paper of 6 July that you are planning to have the Copenhagen Amendment extended to Hong Kong at a later date.

2.

We would be interested to know when you are planning to consult the Chinese in the JLG on this new IRO. Given past Chinese performance, presumably the sooner we do this the better!
