1. If there is to be a meeting of OPD (K) while the Governor is here, we shall certainly recommend to Ministers that you should be invited back for it. it was very useful for you to be present at the meeting in November.

On whether a meeting is likely this time, I think it is a little early to say. It looks at present as if there may not be any new policy issues to be decided. Although it will be for the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State to judge, I doubt that it would be useful to hold an OPD (K) simply in order to have a general discussion.

The only guide I can give you at present as to timing is that the Governor will be in the UK for the weeks of 5 and 12 April. The Secretary of State is travelling during the week of 5 April. So if there was to be an OPD(K), I imagine that it would be in the period 14-16 April. At present the Governor is Lunching with the Prime Minister on 14 April, and calling on the Secretary of State on 15 April.
