SECRETARY OF STATE'S SIXMONTHLY MEETING WITH QIAN QICHEN
1. We are still unsure as to whether the Secretary of State will meet Qian Qichen in New York on 21 May. However on the assumption that the meeting will go ahead we have been giving thought to how we might structure the Secretary of State's interventions. We think it could be useful for the Secretary of State to hand over an updated version of the JLG work-plan, pointing out that the delays pre-date the Governor's Legco speech in October.
Do you think this is a good idea and would it be possible for you, or CAB to update the Work Plan by that date?
