The values of
Hong
Kong's domestic exports and
re-exports to China continued to grow rapidly in the fourth quarter of 1992, by 10% and 41% respectively. For the year as a whole, the corresponding growth rates were 14% and
were attributable to the
outward processing activities across as the greater absorption of imports
38%.
These marked increases
continued growth in
the border, as well
for China's own use.
