4 June Commemorative Events

As I mentioned to you, Li Hexie of NCNA rang this morning about the events planned in Hong Kong to commemorate 4 June 1929. He repeated almost verbatim the points made by Yan Youyong on 20 May (your minute of 21 May refers). repeated the points I had made, emphasizing the freedom of expression enshrined in Hong Kong law, and the responsibility of the Royal Hong Kong Police for public order.
