More substantively, you will no doubt be adding a draft paragraph or 20 on the outcome of Round 17, to pur at the end of PEPE II of the Paper. As you will see from telegram
seading separately today, the Governor is keen that this should highlight the fact that the Chinese side have retreated from their original wording on the appointed members inque by removing their own" from their formula. The Paper should Lao refor to the Chinese reasoning behind this change, revealed to Christopher Hum by Jiang Enzhu.
