VISIT OF ECUADORIAN ANTI-CORRUPTION OFFICERS TO HONG KONG

1. Geoffrey Barnes visited Ecuador in January 1993 to advise the National Secretariat for Administrative Development (SENDA) on the setting up of a small anti-corruption unit.

2. On the basis of Mr Barnes' report, three members of SENDA have now requested an appropriate familiarisation visit with ICAC. The three officers, Rosales, Runruil and Yannuzzelly have proposed three working days in Hong Kong from 10-12 May inclusive. Grateful you let us know whether this will be possible deskby 07093OZ.
