Charles Warwick Reid

Reid is completing his sentence in the Correctional Services Department's High Security Unit at Siu Lam. Following his petition to the Governor, his eight years' sentence for a S. 10 Prevention of Bribery Ordinance offence was reduced by one year. His earliest release will be November 1994.

Reid, who sought a three year reduction is understood to be dissatisfied with the Governor's decision and is considering a judicial review of it.

5.

The appeal of Alick AU will be heard on 7 September and those of Oscar LAI and Eddie SOH are scheduled for eight weeks commencing 1 March 1994. appealing against conviction and sentence.
