END OF YEAR INTERVIEWS WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE

The Secretary of State is giving partly retrospective, but mainly forward looking interviews on 22 December. interviews will be wide-ranging and will be used by the Secretary of State to remind audiences that there is a wider foreign policy agenda than the European Community and Yugoslavia. Questions on current issues cannot be ruled out but that is not the purpose of the interviews.

I should be grateful if you would let me have short, crisp bull points covering briefly the major events/achievements in your area during 1993, and, slightly more extensively the agenda for 199 To enable us to collate briefing in News Department we shall need contributions by close of play on Monday 20 December, please. Nil returns are required.
