FUTURE OF SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR HONG KONG

1. The Minister has seen your submission of 13 May. He has commented that it is a pity that we have to phase out the UK/Hong Kong Joint Funding Scheme for Scholarships. He wonders whether the Hong Kong Association offer scholarship finance and whether we could extract any money from them for scholarships. I should be grateful for advice.
