I am glad to learn that you are prepared to follow the option preferred by the Royal Hong

Hong Kong

Kong Jockey Club. As regards your concern over the financial position of the late Sir Shiu-kin Tang's Bequest, I attach for your reference an estimate of the income and expenditure of the Bequest based on an assumed inflation rate of 9% p.a. and an average interest rate of 10% p.a. on sterling deposits. projection, the Bequest should be well additional requirement of £100,000 p.a. 1993/94, 1994/95 and 1995/96.
