ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SIR S K TANG BEQUEST
1.
We spoke about my draft submission on the Sir S K Tang Bequest on 12 May before you went on leave.
You said you would be unable to look at the papers on the Bequest (my minute to Ms Brooks of 11 March, my minute to you of 25 March and my draft submission of 21 May) until you returned from leave on 26 May. As the majority of the papers have been with Legal Advisers since mid March I would be grateful if you could look at them as soon as possible on your return. There is much ground still to be covered before the administrative arrangements for the Bequest can be settled and I am anxious to start work on the next stage. As I said in my minute to you of 25 March, we are content that we have found the correct mechanism for making arrangements for the administration of the Bequest and our main concerns are now procedural ones.
2. I would be grateful for a reply by 11 June as I will be taking leave before the end of June and would like to move to the next stage of agreeing terms with the ICR before then.
