1. Thank you for your minute of 18 December about your proposals for the allocation of FCOSAS funds for 1993/94.

On a point of detail, I noted the particular success of Seoul in securing joint funding of scholarships. have suggested to FED that there are other posts in my command (notably Tokyo and now Taipei) which might be able to attract funding on a similar basis. The department plan to follow this up with you.
