(ATA CONVENTION)

NOTE ON THE EXTENSION OF THE CONVENTION

TO HONG KONG BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM

OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Notification of the extension of the above Convention to Hong Kong by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was received at the Secretariat of the Customs Co-operation Council on 14 December 1973.

In accordance with Article 25, this notification will take effect on 14 March 1974.

As regards Article 26 of the Convention, Hong Kong will not accept ATA carnets for postal traffic.
