Just a few points on your circulated draft speech.
para 3.
Gross domestic product or output of the Asia Pacific Area forecast to exceed that of the EC (and incidentally the US).
para 4. Hong Kong has expanded its manufacturing base to southern China rather than moved.
2. To illustrate Hong Kong's role in world trade the following could be added; Hong Kong is the world's largest export of clothing, second largest exporter of textiles and seventh largest exporter of manufactures. These are 1991 figures which include re-exports, excluding re-exports Hong Kong is still the third largest exporter of clothing.
